Rajorhia, a Ph.D. in Dairy Technology and a former Principal Scientist & Professor of Dairy Technology, NDRI, Karnal, having more than 40 years experience in research, teaching, training and consultancy services at Agri. College Ajitmal; G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology and NDRI. Recipient of many Awards: UNDP/FAO Fellowship for advanced research in dairy processing at Cornell University, Ithaca, USA (1982-83); CSIRO Dairy Research Jubilee Award (Australia) for outstanding Dairy Scientist (Jan. 1990 to Dec. 1990); Rishabh Shree Award (1992-93) of the Bhartiya Cattle Resource Development Foundation for perfecting technologies for traditional milk products; Guardener’s Award; Five Best Paper Awards; Distinguished Person Awards; Members of Academic & Professional Bodies and Associations; Life Member, IDA; Former Vice Chairman, IDA (NZ); Past President, Association of Food Scientist & Technologists, (Karnal Chapter); Past President, Alumni Association of NDRI; Member, Agriculture and Food Division Council, BIS; Expert Member, Dairy Products, Member Food Additives Sub-Committee of CCFS, Ministry of Health; Published over 250 research and technical articles, book chapters and contribution to encyclopedias.
