FSAPI Award bestowed on Dr. Javed Khan - A Life Member of IDA

DR. JAVEED KHAN, a Life Member of IDA, was bestowed fellowship of Society of Animal Physiologist of India (FSAPI) for the excellent contribution in the field of Animal Physiology during the 27th Annual Conference and National Symposium of Society of Animal Physiologist of India held at NDRI, Karnal (Haryana) during 27-28 November, 2018. The award and citation certificate was handed over by Dr. Gaya Prasad Vice Chancellor, Sadar Vallabhabhai Patel University of Agric and Technology, Meerut.

Dr. Javed Khan is presently working as Professor/Principal Scientist, Department of Veterinary Physiology and Biochemistry, College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Chhattisgarh Kamdhenu Vishwavidyalaya (CGKV), Anjora, Durg, Chhattisgarh since 1988.

Dr. Khan is the leading Animal Physiologist of India working in the area of endocrinology, reproductive and lactation physiology and developed protocol for induction of lactation in Sahiwal and its crossbreds cows and commercialized the induction of lactation technology through NRDC, New Delhi under ICAR project and developed superovulatory protocol for Sahiwal cows for first time in India. He was associated with production of first Sahiwal ET calf in India named “Gokul” under ICAR research project.
